Wild Rice Soil Conservation District and NRCS held the annual Eco Ed day on September 12, 2019. 55 students from three schools (Sargent Central, North Sargent, and Milnor) attended the event. Students heard presentations on variety of different topics about the environment. These topics covered information about water quality, wetland/wildlife, woodlands/trees, prairie/rangeland, and soils.
The Eco Ed day is an annual event hosted to area 7th graders. Special thanks to the students who participated, the teachers, chaperones, facilitators, and everyone who helped make this event happened.
