My name is James Winther and I am the new Natural Resource Specialist for the NRCS in Forman, ND. I have been a part of the Forman community for nearly 4 years now, previously serving as the Farm Bill Specialist for the North Dakota Association of Soil Conservation Districts in the NRCS office. I graduated college from Montana State University in Bozeman, MT with a degree in Biological Sciences in 2019. In my free time I like to enjoy all the activities the Forman area can offer such as fishing, hunting, community events, and plenty of walks with my dog Gus. I look forward to continuing to work with Sargent County producers to help put conservation on the ground.
